Invariably piloted by confident American womenfolk, these UNSC dropships ferry you about and sometimes bring in reinforcements. Oh, and they look good. There's nothing much to say about it tactically however as you have no control over it. Like the Covenant dropship, it can't be damaged. Marines sometimes shoot out of the back, including at you if you've gone loco. When you're in it yourself though, you can't shoot, which is a pity; I've always wanted to let the enemy have it with my pistol when coming in to land on the Silent Cartographer island!
