BCM559 - Pyramid descent fight x2, spine play & speed play
(6:20) Level 8 ('Two Betrayals') on Heroic. Again using the same pyramid descent fight set-up, I first of all make use of the 'spine' running down the structure, then do a speed play with shotty & rocket launcher - in which all covies must die of course.

Commentary
00:02 (Spine play) One of the novel things you can do with a custom set-up is drop yourself off on the spine, to do most of your attacking from there. So that's what I wanted to show here. It goes pretty well, and there's a nice ending where I rocket the path group 3 Elites, who were where I thought I'd find them, and who I'd deliberately ignored in my spine work (partly because they could hardly be seen in that exceptionally dark area they lurk in).
Note: I'd also left one of the two path group 3 Grunts alive, prior to triggering the snow group. I'm pretty sure he's the Grunt I killed later around 3:22. In total there were four Grunts slain in the area of the snow; and the snow group only has three.
04:29 (Speed play) I've been very much enjoying the shotty so far, and here I pair it with the rocket launcher for a kill 'em all speed play. My time starts when I start moving and ends when the covies are all dead, then it's rounded to the nearest second.
Prior to this play, I mangaed one in which the pyramid part was actually done faster by around 5 seconds. But the time was only 1:44, slower than the 1:38 seen here, as the snow troops took me significantly longer. Here the snow section goes really well, and the Wraith never even gets a shot off.
Closing remarks Have to say, that speed playing has made me itchy to step things up to Legendary, to get into some stiffer resistance. Should be interesting. So watch out for that at some point.
